Balice Airport is located about 15 km from the Krakow city center. The city center can be reached by:

• taxi - access to the center takes about 20 minutes, the approximate cost of 60 PLN/ 13 EUR,

• city buses - journey takes about 40 minutes, approximate cost of 6 PLN/ 1.3 EUR,

• train - located about 200 m from the terminal, travel time is about 15 minutes, the approximate cost of 20 PLN/ 4.3 EUR. Trip to Krakow Central Railway Station and then by bus from West Station - bus number 179 to stop at AGH University Campus, approximate cost of 4 PLN/ 1 EUR.

You can also select a flight to Pyrzowice Airport and then continue your journey to Krakow by bus (cost about 13 EUR). Another variant is the arrival to Warsaw Chopin Airport and from there by train (Express trains are available) to Krakow (cost about 40 EUR).

Krakow is one of the main railway hubs in Poland. Kraków's Main Railway Station is in the city center, near the historic Old Town district. Kraków has direct railway connections with many European cities. An express train ride from Krakow to Warsaw (about 300 miles) takes about 3 hours. The bus station is located on the Wita Stwosza street (the eastern side of the railway station).
