World Water Day 2023

2023.03.22: World Water Day - Accelerating Change.

World Water Day (UN resolution of December 22, 1992) has been celebrated annually since 1993 on March 22. The aim of the initiative is to promote social awareness in the field of sustainable management of freshwater resources. The issue is in line with Goal 6 of the Sustainable Development Strategy, in particular on clean water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). In 2023, World Water Day is focused on ways to accelerate change in the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
